😴 How to Make a Boring Pitch Deck

Here’s a technique I use all the time when crafting pitch decks. I learned it from the creators of South Park.

In between each slide, put an invisible “but” or a “therefore.” If it doesn’t make sense, shift your slides around or change the titles until it does.

If you can put “and then” between your slides, your pitch deck is becoming boring.

Trey Parker says it best: “If the words ‘and then’ belong between those [slides], you’re fucked.”
