How to Filter Your Pitch Deck Feedback

Just when you think you’re done with your pitch deck, more “helpful” feedback lands on your desk. Your to-do list gets a little longer. You may even start to feel defeated.

What to do with all this feedback?

I recommend:

  1. Graciously accepting it

  2. Putting it through a filter

The filter is: “Did this person get what I was trying to say? Or did they get confused?”

If your pitch deck is confusing people, then you know it’s time to adjust it. That’s it.

Note that over time, what you’re trying to say may change, and your new message will also require you to edit your deck.
